But of course… Just when we thought we had escaped the chicken pox for E this time round, he comes down with it. So we had O back at preschool for three days before we had to pull E out. The great thing though is that means that in a week, we’ll be done with chicken pox as a household. I think we’ve come out of it quite lightly, despite it being a pain in the rear.
We had a breakthrough last week: a cycling breakthrough. We have now got the boys on bikes thanks to new child seats and we have managed to get out and explore by bicycle four days out of seven last week. And now everything changes yet again. Most likely this is a just a temporary change, so I am going to enjoy it while it lasts. The boys are friends this week, and are, on the whole, playing well together. We have had no fighting, no biting, no pushing for the past four or five days. It is wonderful.
