Thank you, chicken pox, for those “interesting” few weeks, but we learned a couple of tricks for dealing with you and since you won’t be coming back to us again, I thought I would pass on these tips to ease chicken pox. I caught chicken pox when I was, I think, around six or seven. I have a couple of scars from it, so clearly I was not so good at not scratching, but the only memory I have of it is having baths inRead More
It wasn’t until I started to write this post and looked back at posts from last year that I realised that our potty training saga has been going on since last June. Unfortunately, the cafe was already closed and the weather was not ideal, so we cycled around a little and then headed back home. We wereRead More
As I said in my portraits post for the week, I learned a few valuable lessons while planning a superhero-themed birthday party for O. I think that I maybe went a little overboard and made too much work for myself – they are only four year olds, after all and the party lasted just two hours. On the other hand, it was such fun (if exhausting) planning and baking and creating. Planning the party We searched around for a centrally located venue suitable for a handful ofRead More
