Picture postcard Phuket
This week’s Gallery theme is “picture postcard” and when I read it, I just knew that this picture would be perfect. I took it last January when Husband, Little O and I were on holiday on Phuket. We had a fantastic time on the holiday. Little O was just beginning to use furniture to pull himself up to standing and was trying to crawl. He spent every day in the pool and demolished a fair few Thai meals.
I would go back at the drop of a hat.
In brief: English, living in Sweden, with my Swedish/Hungarian husband and our sons, Little O and Baby E, and trying to juggle all the different aspects of my new life - the me I was before, the me I am now and the me that I would like to be... 
Love everything about this photo – the fact that it’s a gorgeous beach helps! The boat is in just the right place in the shot.
By the way, still looking forward to coming to Sweden in July and hoping to take lots of picture postcard shots while I’m there!
Thanks, Trish! Every time I look at this photo it takes me straight back there – bliss! We’d taken a boat over to the island with Little O entertained by some Russian tourists all the way and then we spent the afternoon there, including a massive thunderstorm that blew in from the sea, and then took the last boat back to the hotel.

Me too, again, me too! And then, a couple of days after posting this, I read that the resort has been sold, Makes me feel so sad that we won’t be able to go back there.
