You Capture | Vibrance

Sunday was a good day, a wonderful day, the day I returned to the Apple fold. Yes, on Sunday, I bought an iMac. I fell in love with Macs in my first job as a production editor on a trade magazine. I longed to buy one but that was before the iMac and at the time an Apple was just too far out of my price range.

But now I have saved up my pennies and bought myself a beautiful iMac and what better illustration of vibrance than the default desktop picture that appeared the first time I turned it on:

I am still in the process of relearning how to use a Mac. Long-time Apple users would laugh to watch me try to right click, but it is coming back to me fast. Oh, how I love this iMac already!

The Gallery – Hair

Tara at Sticky Fingers has set “Hair” as this week’s Gallery theme. I just had to post this pic of Baby O when he was around three weeks old. He was born with this much hair and dark like this. Everyone kept on telling me that it would all fall out, but it didn’t. In fact, it grew and grew and got thicker and lighter and so now I have a little blonde baby. But back then he had dark, dark hair.

His hair has grown so long and so thick that I’ve had to cut it three times since Christmas as it was growing over the tops of his ears and making them look hairy and had started to poke into his eyes at the front.

It will be interesting to see what happens next with it since both Husband and I had blonde hair as young children and now his is dark, dark brown and mine is… well… dirty blonde… light brown… will be beautifully highlighted come lunch time on Saturday!

Head over to The Gallery to see what the others have posted.
