Well, why is this blog here? What is it all about?
First and foremost, it is about me and my journey through pregnancy in a foreign land, albeit a land where I have now lived for almost two years. However, once we discovered that we were going to have a baby, a whole new realm opened up: babyworld.
So, a little more about me: most people call me Kat, I’m English but live in Stockholm (the one that’s the capital of Sweden) with my husband of six months (no, we’re not quite having a honeymoon baby – almost, but not quite!) and our first baby is due in late April/early May.
So, babyworld… I am one of those people who has to research everything – I just feel happier if I know as much as I can about any new topic. So you can imagine that I through myself into the new world of pregnancy and bought every book and magazine that I could lay my hands on. Then I got scared… Babyworld is a very scary place at first – everything is new, everything is different and everyone has an opinion of how you should behave now that you are carrying an unborn child.
Really what this blog is about then is my thoughts, feelings and discoveries about this new journey on which we have embarked.
I know they say that no news is good news, but I would love to hear your feedback, so please don’t be shy and feel free to leave your comments.0
